On the road, again
Where will this take us?
We've often wondered how to describe our current adventure: "You have time or money, but seldom both" is one or, "a mid-life crisis that doesn't involve buying a sports car" is another. But whatever you might say, after talking for a decade about renting our house, putting things in storage and just travelling, we've finally done it. There've been many distractions and delays plonked in our way. The nastiest was the Christchurch earthquake in 2011, that trashed our house and put us in insurance limbo-land for three years. We also followed our dreams and opportunities for work and adventure in Canada and then to Norway.

But, late last year we realised it was time to stop talking and hit the road. We've no house, few possessions, no job and thus, no excuse...

Not being a fan of the all-pervasive social media, I try and keep people's privacy intact, by referring to initials only. You will not see any selfies. We already know what we look like.

My blog isn't filled with recommendations and links for this or that experience either, although I might say a couple of things. It's really a letter home, saying what we got up to and the thoughts each experience provoked. I hope you enjoy the journey as much as we are.

All opinions are mine. If you don't like them, ah well. That's just the way it goes...
